SELF-DEFENSE. While armed with nothing but the truth, you get an extra save against slander and criminal accusations.
LEADS. You have a pool of Leads, and can spend one to do one of the following:
- Ask two questions of a target; they must save or answer honestly for each.
- Ignore 1d6 words (your choice) of a command or question directed at you. (The speaker, too, acts as if that's what they actually said.) If this reduces it to 0 words, you can send it back in its original form.
- Make a logical leap [templates] steps across. (This will go unnoticed except by other reporters.)
You get your Leads back when you update your evidence board, at the end of the week. You can get a new Lead by pursuing a rumor.
SLOW FALL. If you're blacklisted or slandered, you can spend a day managing your image to reduce the loss of social capital, retaining [templates] highly specific points of contact. Example points of contact include: Meeting a particular source under cover of night, receiving dead drops on an inconvenient schedule, or using a pseudonym that prevents you from leveraging your previous goodwill.
STUNNING STRIKE. You can spend 3 Leads to publish a devastating exposé. Choose a creature or an organization. On a failed save, for the next week, their plans are halted, they have disadvantage on rolls made to save face, and they can't make any moves against you, as it would confirm their guilt.
EXTRA ATTACK. Whenever you make your first attack on your turn, make another.
