ROGUE
start with: cursed gem (anyone who holds it turns into a rogue over the course of a week, and you die over the same period)

UNFIT FOR SOCIETY. Choose one of your ability scores and replace it with Menace. Your Menace begins at 1 and goes up when you survive something that might have killed you (a fall, an attack while you're on low HP, etc). You have a bounty on your head for a number of dollars equal to 100 x your Menace, and if your Menace is 15 or more, you're wanted dead. Birds will not approach you unless there are a number of them present equal to or greater than your Menace.
RUN. Choose one of three Death Perks.
- You can prevent corpses and creatures you kill from being eligible for resurrection or reanimation.
- When you die, return to life with full health and lose this perk.
- Gain 1 Menace when you kill a creature that can speak.
TALENT. Choose one of three Skill Perks.
- Your eyes are blind. You can see instead through the eyes of any bird that can see you. One bird at a time.
- Any egg in your care for a week will hatch fully grown at the end of that week. The hatchling will be rabid and die one week after.
- Your hands and feet are talons. You climb unerringly, cannot be disarmed, and enemies you grapple can't escape unless they remove the offending limbs.
GUILD. Choose one of three Allegiance Perks.
- Whippoorwills, dopplers, and other such liars will treat you as kin. You can reproduce non-vocal sounds such as thunder or machinery.
- Grouses, goblins, and other such sneaks will treat you as kin. Shadows you touch extend in a direction you choose, a number of feet equal to your menace.
- Cassowaries, soldiers, and other such murderers will treat you as kin. You are unnaturally proficient with all weapons.
AMBITION. Choose one of three Mutation Perks.
- Each time you awaken from sleep, you can choose a non-Mutation Perk you haven't already chosen. You have that Perk until you sleep again.
- Spend 10 Menace to choose a non-Mutation Perk you haven't already chosen.
- Change any number of your non-Mutation Perks.
